Reports on Twitter claim that Darren Bent storms out of Villa Park after being informed that he is not part of the Aston Villa squad to face Reading.

Darren Bent has reportedly left Villa Park upon learning that he had not been included in the Aston Villa squad for tonight's Premier League encounter with Reading.

Having been left out against Arsenal at the weekend despite being fully fit, reports had claimed that the England striker would return to the fold for the visit of the Royals.

However, manager Paul Lambert has opted to start with Gabriel Agbonlahor and Christian Benteke in attack, while youngster Jordan Bowery is the recognised frontman on the bench.

Bent is said to have arrived on time, but departed angrily and was seen driving away from the ground, according to reports on Twitter.

The 28-year-old joined Villa from Sunderland in January 2011.
