Alex McLeish says that he isn't interested in selling any of his Aston Villa players but hints that it is not an impossibility.

Alex McLeish has claimed that it is "very unlikely" that he will sell any of his players during this month's transfer window.

The former Birmingham City boss has had to endure exit speculation surrounding striker Darren Bent and centre-back James Collins.

"Am I wanting to do [transfer] business? I am not pushing," said McLeish. "I am not in any hurry to lose any of my players.

"Only if it was an attractive proposition would we do anything so it's very unlikely we would let any of our players go."

The Scotsman brought in Robbie Keane on a two-month loan switch from Los Angeles Galaxy.
