Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan has admitted that he would "definitely" return to the MLS if he had the opportunity.
Guzan has revealed that he would like to play for Chicago Fire when his time is up in European football.
The keeper has made 25 appearances for the Villans after taking over from Shay Given as first choice this season, but has said that his aim is to go back and play in America one day.
"Would I like to return to MLS one day? Yes, definitely. I was only a kid when I first went into MLS and it was still growing," Guzan told reporters.
"To see now from watching the highlights on the internet and TV just how far it has come," he told the Express & Star. "Hopefully, I will get the opportunity, when I'm finished playing in Europe, to go back and play in it. Especially being from Chicago, which has a team.
"I'd love to go back and play for the Chicago Fire in front of friends and family. That would be pretty neat."
The US international moved to Villa Park in 2008 for a fee of £600,000 from Chivas.
