Report: Norwich City, Fulham eye Alan Hutton

Alan Hutton could be offered an escape route from Aston Villa this month as Fulham and Norwich City are reportedly interested in the Scot.

Fulham and Norwich City are among those reportedly considering a move for Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton this month.

The Scotland international has found himself frozen out of manager Paul Lambert's plans at Villa Park, with the 29-year-old completing loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Real Mallorca over the past 12 months.

The former Tottenham Hotspur full-back is reportedly keen on rebuilding his Premier League career and, according to Sky Sports News, Hutton is not short of admirers as both Rene Muelensteen and Chris Hughton weigh up January moves for the out-of-favour Scot.

Hutton's existing deal with the West Midlands outfit expires in 2015.
