Report: Aston Villa interested in Ravel Morrison

Aston Villa are interested in signing controversial midfielder Ravel Morrison from West Ham United, according to a report.

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison.

The 21-year-old is out of contract with the Hammers in the summer, but manager Sam Allardyce has told the former Manchester United man that he is free to leave the club this month.

Morrison is reportedly holding talks with Lazio over a potential move to Serie A.

Villa boss Paul Lambert is looking to add to his midfield, with Tom Cleverley expected to join Everton this month.

The Scot has identified Morrison as a target, according to talkSPORT.

The former England Under-21 international was loaned out to Cardiff City earlier this season.
