Aston Villa have reportedly entered the race to sign Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic as they look to add squad depth ahead of a potential spell in European football next season.
The 23-year-old moved from Fiorentina to Turin in January of last year and has made 59 appearances for Massimiliano Allegri's men so far, scoring 22 times in all competitions.
Having netted on 13 occasions in just 21 games for his national side, the Serbia international is attracting serious interest from around Europe, including from Unai Emery's Villans.
According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are preparing to make a move to sign Vlahovic, with the West Midlands outfit ready to offer the forward a lucrative deal to lure him to Villa Park.
It is believed that Juventus have an agreement with Vlahovic that he is able to leave the club if they fail to finish in the top four of Serie A - or if the Old Lady fail to win the Europa League.
Allegri's charges are currently second in the league standings although a top-four finish is not yet guaranteed, with fifth-placed AC Milan five points behind with four games left to play.
Although it is extremely unlikely Villa would be able to provide Vlahovic with Champions League football next term, Emery's side host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the Premier League knowing they could move up to sixth with a victory.
