Half-Time Report: Atletico Madrid go into half time level with Athletic Bilbao

Atletico Madrid go into half time level with Athletic Bilbao as both sides fail to break the deadlock in an uneventful opening 45 minutes.

Atletico Madrid have gone into half time level with Athletic Bilbao as both sides failed in breaking the deadlock.

The reigning La Liga champions were left furious at not being given a penalty as Fernando Torres was held while trying to connect with a cross.

Antoine Greizmann also had a goal chalked off for offside, leaving Diego Simeone's men frustrated going into the break.

Bilbao kept the ball well throughout the first 45 minutes, edging their opponents in possession but failed to get any of their shots on target.
