Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has admitted that his team miss Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois this term.
Courtois spent three seasons on loan at Atletico from Chelsea, but returned to his parent club this summer.
The stopper is already regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world despite being just 22, and Cerezo has claimed that the Belgian is missed at the Vicente Calderon.
"It's obvious we miss him but we've found good replacements. He strongly wanted to be here," Cerezo told Sky Sports News.
"He's always been Chelsea's goalkeeper but he was with us for three seasons, so we must thank him and Chelsea for what he has given to Atleti and Spanish football."
Courtois has ousted Petr Cech as Chelsea's number one this season.
