Brighton & Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has reportedly garnered interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid following his strong start to the season.
Lamptey has caught the eye with his dynamic displays on the right-hand side for the Seagulls despite their poor results, bagging one goal and three assists from seven top-flight appearances.
Naturally, the 20-year-old is being linked with a number of top European sides, with a couple of Champions League powerhouses now reported to be keeping a close eye on his development.
According to the Daily Mail, Bayern and Atletico are both keeping tabs on Lamptey - contracted to Brighton until 2023 - alongside Europa League winners Sevilla.
However, the report also claims that Graham Potter views Lamptey as an integral part of his future plans and is keen for the former Chelsea man to pen a new deal on the South Coast as a matter of urgency, with negotiations set to begin after this month's international break.
Lamptey found the back of the net for the first time as a senior player in Brighton's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
