Everton reportedly express interest in signing Atletico Madrid right-back Santiago Arias.

Everton are reportedly considering the possibility of bringing in Atletico Madrid right-back Santiago Arias on loan for next season.

The 27-year-old moved to the Spanish capital from PSV last summer in an £11m deal but struggled to find form in his debut campaign and was dropped for the final three games of the season.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Toffees director of football Marcel Brands is a huge fan of Arias and knows him well, having previously brokered the deal to take the Colombian to PSV in 2013.

The newspaper says that the club are weighing up a loan move for Arias this summer, although the deal could hinge on whether Atletico manage to complete the signing of Leicester City's Ricardo Pereira.

Everton are also said to be monitoring Luton Town starlet James Justin, who has been linked with a £12m move to the Foxes.
