Saint-Etienne president Roland Romeyer has revealed that he wants to re-sign former midfielder Joshua Guilavogui on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 23-year-old moved to Atletico Madrid at the beginning of the season, but has played just one minute of La Liga action due to a number of injury concerns and competition for places.
"The problem is that Josuha went to a great club with great players and has not had minutes," Romeyer told But.
"I know that he is suffering there and we would be happy to loan him back. We are close to December 25 and I do not believe greatly in Santa Claus... I would be very happy if he ended up returning, but I do not believe it will happen."
The Frenchman has been tipped to break into the Atletico side in the second part of the season.
