Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone admits that he is not surprised by speculation linking Radamel Falcao with a move away from the club.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has claimed that he is not surprised by speculation linking Radamel Falcao with a move away from the club.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are among a handful of top European sides who are thought to be interested in the Colombian striker.

Falcao has scored 26 goals in all competitions for Atletico this season.

"The same thing happened at the same stage of the season last year. It's not news," Simeone is quoted as saying by talkSPORT.

"Falcao is a great player and it's logical that the best teams in the world are interested in him. It doesn't surprise me."

The forward is thought to have been valued at around £45m.
