Atletico Madrid full-back Javier Manquillo has emerged as a transfer target for both Watford and Sunderland, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has represented Spain at every youth level from Under-16 to Under-21 and has spent time on loan at Liverpool and Marseille.
According to Sky Sports News, the Hornets are after a right wing-back and Manquillo is a key target, but Black Cats boss David Moyes is also in need of a right-back.
The Madrid-born defender began his career as a Real Madrid trainee before switching to Atletico as a 13-year-old along with his brother Victor in 2007.
