Comfortable win for Augsburg against Stuttgart

Sascha Molders, Marcel de Jong and Ji Dong-Won score for Augsburg in the second half to help them to a 3-0 home win against Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

Augsburg have given themselves a fighting chance of staving off relegation from the Bundesliga this season with a 3-0 home victory over Stuttgart.

All three goals at the SGL Arena came in the second half.

Sascha Molders broke the deadlock for the hosts just after the hour mark when he headed home Tobias Werner's delivery from close range.

Marcel de Jong made it 2-0 to Augsburg in the 83rd minute when he fired in from outside the Stuttgart box after being teed up by Daniel Baier.

Ji Dong-Won ascertained the points for Augsburg two minutes later as he latched onto Andre Hahn's pass to slot home from close range.
