Rudi Garcia: 'Draw with Barcelona would be a big deal'

Rudi Garcia says that Roma have to take their chances against Barcelona when the teams meet in their Champions League Group E clash at Camp Nou.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia has said that it would be a "big deal" for his team to earn a point from their Champions League meeting with European champions Barcelona on Tuesday evening.

The Giallorossi came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw when the teams met at the Stadio Olimpico earlier this season, but the Spanish giants will come into the game off the back of a 4-0 triumph over fierce rivals Real Madrid.

Garcia has acknowledged that it will be hard for his team to claim anything at Camp Nou, and that they must take any chances that come their way.

"We know that a draw is enough for Barcelona to get through," Garcia told reporters.

"For us it won't change much in terms of the table if we draw or lose. To avoid defeat here would be a big deal. It would be better to win, but not many teams can do that.

"Barcelona are the best team in the world, but if there are chances we have to take them. Only a win can change the future."

Roma are currently second in their Champions League group, five points behind leaders Barcelona.
