Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Barcelona could line up for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona head coach Xavi could receive a triple fitness boost for Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg with Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.

The Spanish champions will definitely be without the services of two long-term injury victims in the French capital, as Gavi (ACL) and Alejandro Balde (hamstring) continue their recovery processes.

However, with no La Liga commitments to fulfill over the weekend, Barca were able to welcome all of Pedri (thigh), Andreas Christensen (Achilles) and Frenkie de Jong (ankle) back to training.

All three have been included in the travelling party, and De Jong is thought to be in with the best chance of making an appearance from the off on Wednesday as part of a midfield three.

Ilkay Gundogan will certainly be present in the engine room, leaving Fermin Lopez and Sergi Roberto to battle for the final spot in Xavi's triumvirate - a head-to-head which the former might prevail in.

Thanks to his winning goal in Barca's most recent La Liga fixture versus Las Palmas, Raphinha should have done enough to fend off Joao Felix for another start in attack, where Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal will accompany him.

Yamal's fellow teenager Pau Cubarsi has also shone at the back and ought to shield Marc-Andre ter Stegen with Joao Cancelo, Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo, the latter taking Inigo Martinez's place.

Barcelona possible starting lineup:
Ter Stegen; Kounde, Cubarsi, Araujo, Cancelo; De Jong, Gundogan, Lopez; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha
