How Barcelona could line up against Sevilla

Ahead of Wednesday's Copa del Rey tie between Barcelona and Sevilla, Sports Mole looks at how Ernesto Valverde's side could line up at Camp Nou.

Barcelona head into the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final with Sevilla needing to overcome a two-goal deficit in order to remain in the competition.

Goals from Pablo Sarabia and Wissam Ben Yedder have provided Sevilla with a 2-0 advantage ahead of the reverse fixture at Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

However, Barcelona were able to return to winning ways at the weekend, with a 2-0 victory being recorded at fellow Catalan side Girona.

Ernesto Valverde has a number of decisions to make ahead of this fixture, and here Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up against their La Liga rivals.

Out: Rafinha (knee), Samuel Umtiti (knee), Ousmane Dembele (ankle)

Barcelona remain with Rafinha, Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele due to injury, but Valverde is still likely to make changes for their upcoming game.

Kevin-Prince Boateng could come back into the starting lineup with Luis Suarez dropping down to the bench, while Malcom may replace Philippe Coutinho providing that the youngster does not leave on a loan deal before the end of the month.

However, Lionel Messi is expected to play a role from the start given the current aggregate score, and the backline could remain the same from the weekend.

There are likely to be alterations in midfield, though, with Arthur fancied to get the nod over Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto potentially being introduced for Ivan Rakitic.

Jasper Cillessen should take the place of Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks.
