How Barcelona could line up against Sevilla

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Wednesday's Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg with Sevilla.

Barcelona will travel to Sevilla for the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final on Wednesday night.

The two teams locked horns in the final of last season's Copa del Rey, with Barcelona running out 5-0 winners as the Catalan giants landed the trophy for the 30th time.

Barcelona will enter the match off the back of a 3-1 victory over Leganes on Sunday, which was their seventh straight three points in the league.

A total of 46 points has left them top of the table, five clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid on the same number of matches.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how Barcelona could line up against Sevilla.

POSS BAR XI vs. SEV

Out: Rafinha (knee), Samuel Umtiti (knee), Ousmane Dembele (ankle)

Barcelona will be without the services of Ousmane Dembele, who picked up an ankle injury against Leganes at the weekend and is now facing two weeks on the sidelines.

Lionel Messi was named on the bench against Leganes, but the Argentine should return to the XI for this match alongside Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho in the final third of the field.

Ivan Rakitic should also return, while Jeison Murillo and Jasper Cillessen have been two of the club's better performers in the competition this season and should earn starting roles.

Nelson Semedo and Arturo Vidal could also make the XI, with Carles Alena due to miss out after the midfielder failed to impress against Leganes last time out.

Rafinha and Samuel Umtiti are still on the sidelines with knee injuries.
