Barcelona's Jeremy Mathieu to miss Deportivo La Coruna clash

An Achilles tendon injury rules Jeremy Mathieu out of Barcelona's away clash against Deportivo La Coruna.

Jeremy Mathieu will be sidelined for Barcelona's trip to Deportivo La Coruna tomorrow night.

The defender scored and completed 90 minutes during Barca's 4-0 Copa del Rey victory over Elche on Thursday evening.

However, the Catalan outfit have confirmed that the 31-year-old will play no part at the Estadio Riazor because of an Achilles complaint.

On a more positive note, head coach Luis Enrique has confirmed that both Neymar and Xavi took a full part in training and are available for selection.
