Lionel Messi back, Neymar out for Barcelona

Lionel Messi returns to the Barcelona squad for Saturday's La Liga clash against Malaga, but Neymar will miss the match with a hamstring problem.

Barcelona have been boosted by the news that Lionel Messi is fit to face Malaga in Saturday's La Liga clash at La Rosaleda, but the Catalan giants will be without their Brazilian attacker Neymar.

Messi missed the midweek Copa del Rey clash with Athletic Bilbao after picking up a hamstring problem against the same opponents last weekend.

The Argentine has been included in Luis Enrique's 18-man squad for the clash with Malaga, however, as Barcelona look to return to the top of La Liga.

Neymar, who has scored 16 times in 17 league games this season, picked up a hamstring problem of his own against Bilbao on Wednesday and the Brazil captain will not be risked ahead of next weekend's clash with Atletico Madrid.

Elsewhere, Gerard Pique is still suspended, while Jordi Alba will once again miss out through injury, but Luis Suarez should return following his Copa del Rey suspension.
