Having fallen off the pace in the race for the top six in the La Liga table, Athletic Bilbao will look to return from the international break with a victory when they host Elche on Sunday.

The hosts now find themselves eighth in the Spanish top flight, seven points behind sixth-placed Real Sociedad, while their visitors will aim to move further clear of the threat of relegation.

While the two sides have been going in different directions recently, the recent break should have acted as a reset for Athletic Bilbao, who will be desperate to return to action with a victory.

Upon their return from the international break, Real Betis will look to boost their claim for a spot in the top four of the La Liga table on Sunday, when they host Osasuna.

Los Verdiblancos remain fifth after a disappointing draw before the layoff, while their visitors have climbed into the top half thanks to an impressive run of form.

While they saw their form take a dip early in March, Real Betis still boast the quality to outclass their opponents at the weekend and will be set on making a return to winning ways.

Two sides battling in the bottom half of the La Liga table will square off on Sunday, as Granada play host to Rayo Vallecano.

The hosts put some crucial distance between themselves and the relegation zone with a win before the international break, while their visitors have experienced a quick fall down the division.

Valencia will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run of form in La Liga to five matches when they welcome Cadiz to Mestalla on Sunday night.

Los Che entered the international break off the back of a 1-0 victory over Elche, while Cadiz boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 win against Villarreal last time out.

Barcelona vs. Sevilla (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona will be aiming to move level on points with second-placed Sevilla in the La Liga table when the two teams lock horns at Camp Nou on Sunday night.

The home side are currently third in Spain's top flight, three points behind second-placed Sevilla, who have seen their title hopes fade in recent weeks by winning just one of their last five in the league.
