Eric Abidal continues recovery

Barcelona defender Eric Abidal drops in on his teammates at training as he continues to recover from a liver transplant.

Barcelona defender Eric Abidal visited his teammates at training on Tuesday as he continues his recovery from a liver transplant.

The 32-year-old has not trained with the Catalan club since April following the transplant, but he dropped in at the Sant Joan Despi training facilities earlier today.

Despite his recent troubles, the Frenchman signed a new contract with the Spanish club in January and is expected to return next season.

Abidal has made 120 league appearances for Barca.
