Luis Enrique praises Celta Vigo side

Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique praises his side following Saturday's 2-0 win over Osasuna.

Celta Vigo boss Luis Enrique has praised his side following Saturday's 2-0 win over Osasuna.

A brace from Nolito secured all the points in Pamplona, with the result moving Celta into eighth position in the table.

"It's a record for the club. We're in an interesting and deserved position because the players have been in very good form," Enrique told Marca.

"I expected what I saw in terms of attitude and behaviour. We have been very successful in front of goal in very specific moments and this has helped us control the game.

"Sergio [Alvarez] made a stop from another planet. In the next move we scored and put things in our favour."

Enrique has been widely linked with a return to Barcelona at the end of the season.
