Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes that Lionel Messi should not be awarded the 2012 FIFA Ballon d'Or.
The Swedish striker believes that the Barcelona forward winning the most prestigious individual award in world football for the fourth year in a row would be unfair.
"How many times has he already won? Two, three?" he told TF1's Telefoot programme.
"If the jury wants to be just a little more fair, it must give it to someone else this time."
Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo are the other two shortlisted candidates for the Ballon d'Or.
