Preview: Osasuna vs. Barcelona

Barcelona can record two consecutive wins in La Liga if they defeat Osasuna on Sunday.

Barcelona come up against Osasuna this Sunday as they try to keep their spot at the top of the La Liga table.

The former league champions head into the clash on the back of a 3-2 victory over bitter rivals Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup last night.

Tito Vilanova's opponents will hope to improve on their 2-0 defeat to Deportivo in their opening game of the season when they host the Catalans on Sunday.

Barca goalkeeper Victor Valdes will retain his spot in the starting lineup, despite his blunder against Real Madrid, which allowed Angel Di Maria to find the back of the net.

Javier Mascherano and Xavi may be chosen to line the middle of the park, while Osasuna should boast a midfield pairing of Alvaro Cejudo and Patxi Punal.

Osasuna: Fernandez; Bertran, Flano, Arribas, Damia; Cejudo, Punal, Sisi, Loe, Etxarri; Nino

Barcelona: Valdes; Adriano, Alves, Pique; Iniesta, Mascherano, Xavi, Busquets; Sanchez, Messi, Pedro

Sports Mole says: 0-2
