Barcelona vs. Las Palmas: Predicted XI for Hansi Flick's side in La Liga contest

Will Yamal return? How Barcelona could line up against Las Palmas

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Las Palmas, including news on Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona are expected to be boosted by the return of Lamine Yamal for Saturday's La Liga clash against Las Palmas, with the Spaniard back in full training with the Catalan side.

The 17-year-old has missed Barcelona's last three matches with an ankle problem, but the attacker, who has six goals and eight assists in 16 appearances this season, is in line to make his return against Las Palmas.

Ferran Torres is also back in training, with the forward recovering from a hamstring problem, but Ronald Araujo will once again be unavailable despite making excellent progress in his recovery from a hamstring issue of his own.

Marc Casado will sit this match out due to a suspension, with the midfielder being sent off in last weekend's 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo, which should open the door for Frenkie de Jong to start in the middle.

Ansu Fati, Andreas Christensen, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are also injured for Barcelona, with the Catalan outfit having a number of fitness problems during the 2024-25 campaign.

Alejandro Balde was named on the bench against Brest in the Champions League on Tuesday night, but the Spain international is expected to be back in the side at left-back on Saturday afternoon.

Dani Olmo, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski are also set to feature in the final third of the field, but Gavi might have to accept a spot on the bench once again.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Pena; Kounde, Cubarsi, I Martinez, Balde; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; Lewandowski
