Report: Barcelona complete signing of teenage Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez

Barcelona reportedly complete their first signing of the summer by securing a deal for promising teenage Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez from Atletico Nacional.

Barcelona have reportedly completed their first signing of the summer by securing a deal for Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez.

The 19-year-old centre-back has been playing for Atletico Nacional, who have just qualified for the Copa Libertadores semi-finals and will face Brazilian giants Sao Paulo.

According to The Mirror, he will play next season with Barcelona's B team but will train with the first-team squad as boss Luis Enrique looks to fast-track him through the ranks.

Davinson, as he is more commonly known, is said to have cost the Blaugrana around £2.8m, and has played in midfield but is viewed as a long-term project in the centre of defence.
