Barcelona 'consider Lucas Hernandez swoop'

Barcelona want to sign Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez at the end of the season, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez.

The 22-year-old came through the youth system at Atletico, and has made 32 appearances for the Madrid giants during an impressive 2017-18 campaign.

The defender has a contract at the Wanda Metropolitano until the summer of 2022, but according to Don Balon, Barcelona are confident of turning his head with an offer at the end of the season.

Hernandez, who can operate at full-back and in the centre of defence, has played in 20 of Atletico's 29 La Liga fixtures this term.

Real Madrid swooped to land Lucas's brother Theo Hernandez from Atletico in last summer's transfer window.
