Barcelona are reportedly preparing to put a summer plan in place when it comes to Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazil international is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, who have the option to sign him on a permanent deal during this summer's transfer window.
According to Sport, Bayern have not yet decided whether they will move for the South American as he has not yet fully established himself at the Bundesliga giants.
Coutinho has scored a respectable nine goals in 31 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign, in addition to providing eight assists in all competitions.
The report, though, claims that Barca are preparing for the 27-year-old's return and will attempt to use him as a makeweight in any future 'mega-deals' in order to reduce the cost of any potential transfers.
The Spanish champions could even allegedly offer Paris Saint-Germain the chance to sign the former Liverpool playmaker as part of a move for Neymar.
Coutinho's current deal at Camp Nou will run until the summer of 2023.
