Celta Vigo's Nolito "not mad" over failed Barcelona move

Celta Vigo attacker Nolito insists that he holds no grudges after failing to secure a return to Barcelona in the January transfer window.

Celta Vigo attacker Nolito has insisted that he is "not mad" over a reported return to Barcelona in the January transfer window breaking down at the final moment.

The Spanish international represented Barca between 2008 and 2011, before making the move to Benfica and latterly Celta, via a loan spell at Granada.

The 29-year-old's form over the last couple of seasons led to suggestions that his former club would look to re-sign the striker in January, but the move failed to materialise and Luis Enrique's side are unlikely to return with a bid.

"I'm not mad or anything with Barca, these are things that happen. I am a person who is not angry and I always try to get away from these things," Nolito told Weloba.cat.

Nolito scored 12 times in 28 appearances for Celta during the 2015-16 campaign.
