Liverpool, Arsenal target admits uncertain Barcelona future

Barcelona forward Pedro admits that he is in a "difficult situation" at Camp Nou after struggling for first-team opportunities.

Out-of-favour Barcelona forward Pedro has admitted that he finds himself in a "difficult situation" at Camp Nou amid speculation of a summer exit.

Pedro, 27, has struggled for first-team opportunities in recent months as the Catalans' attacking trident of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi continue to impress.

The Spain international, who has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool, admits that his future in Catalunya is precarious but has not yet spoken to the club.

Speaking to AS after starting the 4-0 win over Almeria, he said: "I'm in a difficult situation. When the time comes I will talk to the club."

Messi opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark to give the hosts a 1-0 lead at Camp Nou, before Suarez added a second on 55 minutes.

Marc Bartra effectively killed off the contest on 70 minutes, but Suarez added gloss to the victory with his brace in the dying minutes.
