Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly in talks with Philippe Coutinho over a potential move to France which could see Neymar head in the other direction.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly entered talks with Philippe Coutinho regarding a potential move to the French capital which would see Neymar move in the other direction.

Barcelona's hierarchy are determined to dispense with Coutinho, who has struggled to acclimatise to life at Camp Nou since joining from Liverpool in January 2018.

Moreover, the Catalans remain desperate to resign Neymar, and have reportedly offered Coutinho to the Ligue 1 champions as part of a swap deal.

According to The Mirror, talks have commenced between the two clubs, with PSG said to be open to striking a deal with Barcelona if they receive a player in return.

Neymar has somewhat destroyed his relationship with PSG after turning up late to pre-season training and pushing for a move away throughout the summer.

Sporting director Leonardo confirmed last week that talks regarding Neymar's departure from the Parc des Princes were "more advanced than before".
