Paris Saint-Germain 'keen to sign Philippe Coutinho'

Paris Saint-Germain consider a swoop for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool last January, has struggled to make his mark at Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old has managed 18 goals for the Spanish champions but has found it difficult to replicate his Liverpool form since arriving in Catalonia.

The Brazilian was substituted during Barcelona's 4-2 win over Sevilla on Saturday afternoon, having failed to make a difference at the Estadio Ramon.

According to Don Balon, PSG are closely monitoring the developments surrounding Coutinho and are considering an approach - worth more than £100m - in this summer's transfer window.

Coutinho has not scored a league goal for Barcelona since the end of October.
