Report: Sporting Gijon want Sandro Ramirez on loan

A report claims that Sporting Gijon want to boost their squad for the new La Liga season with the loan signing of Barcelona's Sandro Ramirez.

Sporting Gijon are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing Barcelona's Sandro Ramirez to the club on loan this summer.

The 20-year-old scored four times in 12 appearances for Barca's first team last season and had been expected to play a part in the new campaign.

However, according to Sport, La Liga new boys Sporting Gijon are hoping that the offer of regular football will be enough to sway the club and player.

The same report has claimed that either Sandro or fellow youngster Munir El-Haddadi will be allowed to leave the Camp Nou on loan before the start of the season, but not both.

Las Palmas have also been linked with a move for the Spaniard, who is currently on Barca's pre-season tour of the United States.
