Barcelona midfielder Oriol Romeu is reportedly attracting interest from Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas.
The 32-year-old returned to the Catalan giants last summer from Girona and has since made 21 first-team appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
However, Fichajes reports that Romeu is open to leaving the club this month having discovered that Besiktas have submitted an initial offer to sign the Spaniard.
The report adds that both Besiktas and Barca are 'locked in intense negotiations', but Xavi's side are not showing a willingness to facilitate Romeu's departure.
Should Barca change their stance and agree to part way with Romeu, they could potentially reignite their interest in Girona midfielder Aleix Garcia.
The La Liga champions have also been credited with an interest in 17-year-old midfield starlet Lucas Bergvall who plies his trade with Swedish outfit Djurgardens IF.

Over in France, Marseille are reportedly looking to hijack Nottingham Forest's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Giovanni Reyna.
Forest have allegedly held talks with Dortmund over an initial loan deal to sign the 21-year-old USA international with an option to buy.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo's side face competition from Marseille, according to the Daily Mail, as the Ligue 1 club are said to have also opened negotiations with Dortmund over a deal for Reyna.
Reyna is believed to be keen to seek pastures new having struggled for regular first-team football at BVB, starting just one of his nine Bundesliga appearances this season.
The versatile midfielder is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes and is under contract at Dortmund until June 2025.
Marseille are also keen to re-sign Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares, who is currently on loan at Forest.

Meanwhile, Serie A outfit Genoa are reportedly interested in signing Everton defender Ben Godfrey.
The 26-year-old has spent the last three-and-a-half years at Goodison Park and has made a total of 80 appearances in all tournaments.
However, Godfrey has fallen out of favour since the arrival of manager Sean Dyche and has played just three times for the Toffees this season.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Genoa are considering a January swoop for Godfrey, although a number of other unnamed clubs are also said to hold an interest in the defender.
Genoa are owned by 777 Parterns who are hoping to complete a takeover of Everton subject to Premier League and FA approval.
Godfrey could link up with fellow Englishman Djed Spence at Genoa, who signed the full-back on loan from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
