Derby County have been well on top in the first half against Barnsley at Oakwell, but the two teams head into the break goalless.
The hosts began brightly in the early stages and Jason Scotland could have opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but was closed down well by Richard Keogh as he looked to get a shot away after a neat turn inside the box.
Jeff Hendrick then went up the other end and tested Jason Steele after latching onto Mason Bennett's flick, but the keeper got down well to make the save.
The midfielder called Steele into action once more with a volley but once again the keeper was equal to it.
Jake Buxton had a great chance to break the deadlock in the 28th minute, but he headed wide from Paul Coutts's cross.
The visitors were well on top by now, with Mason Bennett once again forcing Steele into action.
Chris Martin then hooked the ball over the bar from Ben Davies's cross as the Rams continued to dominate play.
