Ivica Olic says that winning the Champions League would crown his career.

Ivica Olic has said that winning the Champions League would be the perfect way to end his Bayern Munich career.

The 32-year-old, whose contract runs out in the summer, has agreed to join Wolfsburg after being fazed out by Jupp Heynckes.

Olic said that winning the Champions League before he departs the Allianz Arena would be "something special".

"As far as I'm concerned, winning the Champions League would crown my club career," the Croatian international told Sportske Novosti.

"Even though I have won the UEFA Cup [with CSKA Moscow], winning the Champions League would be something really special."

Olic signed for the Bavarian giants on a free transfer from Hamburg in 2009.
