Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has returned to full training for the first time since suffering an ankle injury three weeks ago.
Gotze was hurt in a challenge by Ramires in last month's UEFA Super Cup victory over Chelsea, with the Brazilian sent off for going into the tackle with studs showing.
After missing international duty for Germany and two Bundesliga matches, Gotze rejoined his teammates for training on Sunday morning after finishing a programme of individual rehabilitation the day before.
The 21-year-old is now expected to enter Pep Guardiola's plans for this weekend's Bundesliga clash with Wolfsburg, but is not thought to be ready for Wednesday's DFB-Pokal match against Hannover on Wednesday.
Guardiola's side have maintained their unbeaten start to the Bundesliga in Gotze's absence, with a 4-0 win at Schalke at the weekend moving them level with Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table.
