Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery: 'No contract talks'

French winger Franck Ribery says that discussions over a new contract with Bayern Munich are yet to take place.

Franck Ribery has revealed that he is yet to start formal contract negotiations with Bayern Munich.

The winger will enter the final 12 months of his deal in Bavaria at the end of the season.

Nevertheless, Ribery has confirmed that talks over an extension are yet to materialise.

"I have not heard anything yet about my contract," Bild quotes the 32-year-old as saying.

"We have yet to hold talks, but everyone knows what I am capable of. I want to keep playing as long as possible."

Injuries have limited Ribery to just eight Bundesliga appearances this term.
