Marc Wilmots "not worried" about Belgium performances

Belgium manager Marc Wilmots insists that his side's performances at the World Cup are not important as long as they win games.

Marc Wilmots has insisted that Belgium's performances at the World Cup are not important as long as his side win games.

The Red Dragons, who face South Korea later today, top Group H having taken all three points against both Algeria and Russia in their opening two games of the tournament.

Despite the victories, Belgium came under criticism from some who suggested that the European side were unable to break down their opponents.

"We are not worried about who plays good or who plays bad," Wilmots is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.

"The thing that I see is that we leave a very few chances to the opponent and that we score each time one or two goals per game and that we take the points.

"The most important in football are the results and to go through. We've played against an Algerian opponent who closed the game against us and opened a lot against Korea.

"Everything depends on the opponent in order to make a great game or not. If we have some spaces we are dangerous as you could see."

Belgium have already secured a spot in the last 16 with one game to spare.
