Seeking to make it three victories on the bounce, Casa Pia play host to Gil Vicente at the Estadio Pina Manique in round 24 of the Primeira Liga on Sunday.

The Gilistas have won each of the last four meetings between the two sides and will head into the weekend looking to complete a second consecutive league double over the hosts.

The appointment of Santos has turned Casa Pia's fortunes around for the better and they will head into the weekend with renewed confidence. Despite their impressive display against Porto, Gil Vicente have struggled for consistency in recent weeks and we are tipping Casa Pia to come away with a narrow victory.

The action continues in round 24 of the Primeira Liga as Portimonense and Vizela go head to head in a bottom-of-the-table clash at the Estadio do FC Vizela on Sunday.

Both sides find themselves in the relegation zone after what has been a forgettable campaign and we expect them to go all out in search of a morale-boosting result this weekend.

We say: Portimonense 1-1 Vizela

Given the stakes of Sunday's result, we expect Portimonense and Vizela to take a cautious approach to this one as they look to avoid dropping more points. We predict that both sides will cancel out each other's efforts and settle for a share of the spoils.

Sporting Lisbon can move top of the the Portuguese Primeira Liga table by beating Farense on Sunday.

The visitors have failed to win any of their last five matches, drawing two and losing three during that run of games.

We say: Sporting Lisbon 2-0 SC Farense

Sporting could be tired after their domestic cup exertions against their city rivals Benfica, but they should possess far too much individual quality for Farense to cope with.

The visitors have dipped in recent weeks after making a decent start to life back in the top flight following their promotion last season, and they would likely settle for suffering a defeat as narrow as possible.

Porto vs. Benfica (Sunday, 8.30pm)

Porto will be desperate to gain ground on bitter rivals Benfica at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table when they meet at Estadio do Dragao on Sunday.

The visitors moved two points clear at the summit last weekend, with Porto nine points behind their forthcoming opponents.

We say: Porto 1-1 Benfica

Both teams are lacking a target man due to Taremi's injury and Schmidt's fluid band of diminutive wingers, meaning we should see an entertaining game with both sides aiming to keep the ball on the deck for the most part.

This match is nearly always a fiery affair and with so much at stake at the top of the table, we do not envisage this meeting being any different.

The visitors will be confident having won eight of their last nine league matches, but we think they may drop points in one of their most difficult games of the season on Sunday.
