Birmingham are on course to end Brighton's winning record as they lead 1-0 at half time of their Championship match.

Brighton & Hove Albion's fine run of form is in danger of being ended by Birmingham City today as they lead 1-0 at half time.

Stephen Dobbie came close after 23 minutes with a dipping half volley that went just wide of Jack Butland's post.

It was the visitors who took the lead, however, when Chris Burke smashed a fine strike past Thomas Kuszczak.

Leroy Lita squandered a great chance to double his side's lead on the half-hour mark when he was sent through one on one with Kuszczak, but the striker scuffed his shot straight at the keeper.

Neither side could find another goal before the referee blew for half time, leaving Birmingham with the one goal lead at the break.
