Blackburn fans plan a new protest against manager Steve Kean.

Blackburn Rovers fans have planned a new protest against manager Steve Kean.

The club are currently in India on a promotional tour, but supporters will hold a march before the home game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, October 23, followed by a sit-in.

Fans had previously demonstrated against the Scot's continued position before their victory against Arsenal last month.

"Over the last week or so, myself and the fellow organisers of the recent protests have been working hard on what we should do next following the ridiculous comments coming out of the club," said Glen Mullan, one of the organisers of the protest.

"The numbers are expected to be much larger than the previous march as more and more supporters have joined the protest campaign."

The club's owners, Venky's, have recently come out in support of Kean.
