Lee Clark has heaped praise on the young players at Blackpool after one of them salvaged a point for the Tangerines in an eight-goal thriller against Nottingham Forest.
Clark described the match as an "emotional rollercoaster" as Blackpool threw away leads at 2-0 and 3-2 before finding an equaliser deep into stoppage time through David Ferguson on only his second appearance for the club.
"These young players are going to give us a basis for the future," Clark told the club's official website. "They're showing now, in a tough environment where we're bottom of the table and every point's crucial, that they can handle it.
"We need back-to-back wins and some points on the board away from home, though. We're going to keep fighting. As long as the lads have got that courage and the fighting spirit they've shown today, then we've got a chance."
Clark's side are 10 points adrift of safety, but now just one point behind Wigan Athletic in 23rd.
