Twins released by Blackpool

Twins Edu and Joan Oriol are released from their contracts at Blackpool.

Blackpool have confirmed that they have released twins Edu Oriol and Joan Oriol from their contracts.

The 28-year-olds made a total of 22 appearances between them after joining the club in the summer.

The pair have not featured for the Seasiders since November.

"The club would like to thank the players for their efforts in tangerine and wish them all the very best for the future," read a statement on Blackpool's official website.

Blackpool continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
