Bolton manager Owen Coyle has admitted he is looking at further improvements to his squad following the arrival of USA international Tim Ream.
Ream is expected to be the direct replacement for Gary Cahill, and Coyle is keen to bring more players in to help his side during the expected relegation battle they could face.
"We're active in pursuing a couple of players," Coyle told the Bolton Evening News.
"Time will tell how that goes but we're certainly looking to add to the squad we've got.
"I always have a figure in my mind about what a player is worth, as will his club. And there are certainly targets of mine out there that would involve money, that's the best way I can put it."
Coyle has been in charge at the Reebok Stadium for just over two years, having taken over in January 2010.
