Half-Time Report: Kieran Lee puts Sheffield Wednesday ahead at Bournemouth

Bournemouth trail at half time as Kieran Lee's header puts Sheffield Wednesday ahead.

Kieran Lee's strike has given Sheffield Wednesday a half-time lead away at Bournemouth.

The home side struggled to create much early on, as the game was broken up by two lengthy injury stoppages.

They almost fell behind in the 23rd minute, as Artur Boruc was forced into two saves to keep out Kieran Lee's shot and Jacques Maghoma's rebound.

Lee made amends 13 minutes later as he put the away side ahead with a powerful header from Lewis Buxton's cross.

Bournemouth almost equalised just before half time, as Harry Arter forced the keeper into a flying save to tip his shot over the bar before Tommy Elphick narrowly headed over from a corner.
