Bournemouth have completed the signing of teenage goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from League One side Sheffield United on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The 18-year-old, who was also linked with Everton this month, has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 levels.
"We are delighted to bring Aaron Ramsdale to the club," said Cherries chief exec Neill Blake. "Aaron is a young, very talented goalkeeper who has represented his country at a number of levels and has a very bright future in the game.
"We believe AFC Bournemouth is the perfect place for him to develop and we look forward to welcoming him into the squad."
Ramsdale made two senior appearances for the Blades in the FA Cup this term, keeping a clean sheet in the 6-0 triumph over Leyton Orient before featuring again in a 3-2 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
