Bournemouth reportedly still want to sign Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray this summer despite having had a £20m bid knocked back last week.

Bournemouth are reportedly still interested in signing Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray this summer.

Gray, 21, has started just 10 Premier League matches since joining Leicester from Birmingham City in January 2016, and it has been claimed that a number of clubs, including Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, want to sign the England Under-21 international this summer.

Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare recently said that he has already spoken to Gray about his future at the King Power Stadium, and appeared to offer assurances over the player's involvement during the 2017-18 campaign.

It is understood that Bournemouth had a £20m bid for Gray rejected last week, but according to Sky Sports News, the Cherries are still hopeful of completing a move before this summer's transfer window slams shut.

Gray has managed just two goals in 55 appearances for Leicester in all competitions.
