Bournemouth are reportedly considering a late move for Icelandic defender Holmar Orn Eyjolfsson as Eddie Howe looks to bolster his side's weak defence.
The Cherries are locked in this season's relegation battle in the Premier League, with their defensive record of 37 goals conceded and just four clean sheets among the worst in the league.
According to 90min, Howe's sides have turned their attentions to Eyjolfsson, who currently plies his trade for Levski Sofia in Bulgaria, and are contemplating making a move before the transfer window shuts on Friday.
The 29-year-old is thought to be on the radar of several English sides due to his form this season, which has seen him contribute three goals in 15 appearances for Sofia.
Eyjolfsson - a 14-cap international player - previously spent time with West Ham United between 2008 and 2011 but failed to make a senior appearance for the London side.
